True to its commitment to helping address serious issues facing their local communities, General Electric (GE) through its GE Volunteers recently partnered with Meralco to conduct a tree-planting activity at the Malabanban Watershed in San Pablo City. Spearheaded by GE Meters, this collaborative effort was a manifestation of both companies’ desire to give back to Mother Earth through a project that will aid in the continuing efforts in greening and preserving our environment.
In the Philippines, GE is consistent with its global aim by making healthymagination not just a commercial buzzword, but a way of life as well. Now in its 75th year in the country, GE now employs over 1,100 Filipinos. GE continues to grow its competitive advantage by drawing not only from its diverse businesses but also from its greatest assets — its employees.
