Since he announced his retirement in 2009 due to injury, Rhys Williams, former Welsh international and Cardiff Blues captain, has opted to choose a career path outside the game. Recently Rhys took up the newly-created position of government and business relations leader at GE Aviation Wales. As part of his new role, Rhys is responsible for developing and building relationships with stakeholders and key organisations as well as overseeing the day-to-day running of the communications team.
