Hello,
My name is Charles Marks and I have experience as an Air Force veteran, as well as 2 years of industrial supervision experience. I am very interested in pursuing a career with GE and would like to know how best to pursue this goal.
Is there any skill development facility available in India by GE ? I am keen.
I see a lot of ads about GE looking to hire vets and that’s great, but i’m down here in Greenville,SC where there’s two GE plants and can’t even get a interview with a gas turbine background. Retired Navy with 12 yrs experience. I stayed in the area because my goal was to get into GE. Any suggestion that may help ?
It is hard to judge GE’s commitment to older Vets, specifically Vietnam to desert Storm area Vets. I have applied to numerous jobs that I am well/over qualified for only to never receive a follow-on call?
I understand tough times but older vets are typically more senior managers and I think that is getting lost in the weeds as GE looks for younger, recently separated Vets.
GE’s social media says they focus on both new and older Vets, I am having a hard time validating the later. Just my feedback, I do appreciate what GE is going for our currently returning Vets…Thank You.
