General Electric Co. publicly unveiled its new $3.1 million engineering center at GE’s Waukesha gas engines facility, which the company said has hired 115 employees in the past 18 months. The Waukesha facility employs about 680 people, 100 in engineering, the company said. Engines made there are used in all stages of natural gas production.
