GE CEO Says WV to Play Big Role in #Energy Future

Jeffrey Immelt, the head of General Electric, spoke at the Creative Arts Center at West Virginia University in Morgantown Wednesday. The speech was a part of WVU’s Festival of Ideas speaker series. WVU and other colleges and universities play a pivotal role if the U.S. is to take advantage of natural resources and stay atop the global economy, he said. The number of engineering, science and math majors must double in the next decade, he said.
