I applied for a position entitled Labor and Employment Counsel with GE Transportation which appears to be listed on your career webpage. A couple of things have given me pause and I wanted to confirm that I am not being deceived. A Samantha Woodford contacted me and appears to have a GE email address. However, she is based out of London, England which concerned me. The position I applied for is in Erie, PA for GE Transportation. I had a phone interview with her last week. When she called me for the interview she used privacy manager, which also concerned me. When I tried to call her number which was listed on her email address, it appeared to be a valid number but she did not answer and her voicemail was not set up which I thought was odd for a recruiter. Ms. Woodford stated I will now have a second phone interview with an Anil Chaddah who is supposedly a hiring manager this upcoming Friday. Following is a copy of the email which also has her alleged contact information;

I have tried to do various searches for him but cannot locate him. I did find Ms. Woodford on Linkedin.com however she did not have a picture of herself. At this point, I have not been asked for any money, but as can be expected during interviews, I have supplied typical personal information about myself via my resume. At this point, I am not claiming that anything illegal has been done, I just want to confirm that these individuals are in fact employed by GE and that this is a legitimate position.
