Two GE workers add finishing touches to one of GE’s largest compressors.

GE, its workers and business partners helped add $5.6 billion to the Texas economy and support over 26,000 jobs, new economic impact research shows. GE’s Houston plants manufacturing oil and gas equipment and innovative jet-engine powered turbines have been big drivers behind GE’s growth in the state.
