“American Business Can Compete and Win Anywhere:” GE CEO Jeff Immelt Kicked Off A DC Summit Focused on U.S. Manufacturing, Innovation, Jobs and Trade

This morning, GE Chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt launched a four-day American competitiveness summit in Washington, DC. The event will be focused on U.S. manufacturing, job creation, innovation, trade and veterans. GE used the opening day to announce a number of programs addressing skills training, workforce preparedness, affordable healthcare, and plans to hire veterans. Top business and political leaders attending the event include House Speaker John Boehner, Secretary of Veterans Affairs General Gary Shinseki, and Boeing CEO Jim McNerney.

Hello, I am retired from Venezuelan Army and I Worked as part of USAF in Lackland AFB, (liutenant colonel, now 42) actually I studied as Aeronautical Logistic Supply Officer there because I was army pilot (fixed wing), I am economist with MBA too and I´m living in Mason, Ohio, as permanent US resident, since 2010.
